Young Danube Experts join an entrepreneurial programme in Slovenia
Priority Area 10 is supporting young entrepreneurs through a programme “Facilitating Enhanced Cooperation among Young Danube Experts” which brings together youngsters from ten Danube countries to the Podim conference. They will gather in Maribor, Slovenia, between 14 and 16 May.

European Commission presents post 2020 budget proposal
On 2 May 2018, the European Commission presented a proposal for a "modern budget for a Union that protects, empowers and defends". The proposal envisages increased investments in research and innovation, young people, digital economy, border management, security and defence. Financing for Common Agricultural Policy and Cohesion Policy will be reduced and modernised.

In the course of the implementation of the DSPF Project SECCo2, the "International conference and youth leadership forum" is organised from May 30th - 31st in Tivat, Montenegro.
SECCo2 aims at strengthening the cohesion of the two macro regions EUSDR and EUSAIR, with a special focus on next generations and youth.

Danube Cities Against Human Trafficking - what is the role of cities and municipalities
Trafficking in human beings (THB) is a complex phenomenon that is highly dependent on regional and local economic, social as well as cultural factors. Priority Area 10 is playing an active role in facilitating a discussion among experts, municipalities, cities and non-governmental organizations. Only common efforts can result in tangible steps for combating human trafficking and exploitation.

On April 18th 2018 around 30 experts, practitioners, academics, representatives of municipalities, civil society organizations, international organizations and others interested in the topic of combating human trafficking from nine countries from Danube Region and wider gathered in Slovenia.
