Let’s participate – Pushing forward youth participation at the 6th Danube Participation Day
Involving young people in regional development is the pre-requisite for achieving durable and viable well-being and high quality of life in the Danube Region. In the course of the revision of the EUSDR Action Plan, Priority Area 10, the Danube Civil Society Forum, Agapedia and the Danube Youth discussed together with over 120 participants needs and ways forward to youth empowerment and youth involvement at the 6th Danube Participation Day in Bucharest on 26 June.

The Young Bled Strategic Forum (Young BSF) is an annual conference bringing together young leaders to engage in lively discussion and develop out-of-the-box solutions to some of the most pressing world issues. The Young BSF model has been growing and changing and has become a unique meeting place for a diverse array of young leaders, entrepreneurs, influencers, thinkers and social activists and thus offering them a platform to share their visions, exchange ideas and connect with one another. The Young BSF 2019 will host young leaders under the title “Youth as a (Future) (Re)source”.

Connecting youth that recognizes the importance of the regional cooperation
Priority area 10 has been bringing together youth from various fields for many years in a row. We have identified and recognized young experts as the most active part of the society that understands the importance of cooperation, regional connectivity and exchange of good practices, expertise and opportunities. It has proved to be a good choice for widening the knowledge about Danube region and Strategy for Danube region as they are spreading the information quickly as any other part of our citizens at the moment.

6th Danube Participation Day - Register now!
This year's Danube Participation Day takes place on 26 June 2019 in Bucharest (RO), back to back with the 8th EUSDR Annual Forum. The Danube Participation Day on "Youth - Participation - Empowerment" will address challenges and opportunities for youth to take active part in the future development of the Danube Region.
Registration is open now until 6 June 2019.

CEI Know-how Exchange Programme opens Call for Proposals
Project Partners from the CEI member countries have the opportunity to submit proposals to the CEI Know-how Exchange Programme (KEP) until 1 July 2019.
The Programme supports initiatives that address the CEI Plan of Action 2018-2020.
