Empowering young start-ups - join us for start-up conference and meet your peers!
Young are indispensable and very resourceful part of each society. We have identified start-ups as one of the most active among young and decided to bring them together to discuss their views and experiences. We are most interested in their participation in policy processes and ideas how to make their lives better and meaningful in the region they share – Danube region.

Coordinated ESF Call for Transnational partnerships is now open
The Bulgarian ESF launches a call aiming at transfering and implementating social innovation, good practices, partnership approaches at finding solutions of common problems, building specific partnership skills, etc. in the field of labour market, social inclusion, healthcare, equal opportunities and non-discrimination, work conditions and the building of administrative capacity in them. Project proposals can be submitted until 11 May 2018. A partner search forum is organised at the end of March 2018.

Cities matter: Involving cities in ESF post 2020 to address social challenges
In the current funding period, cities achieved tangible results regarding better access to jobs, education, housing and social care for vulnerable groups with funding provided by the European Social Fund (ESF). Against this background, cities are crucial stakehokders to be considered in defining funding priorities and technical requirements for project implementation. The findings are based on a survey by EuroCities that included amongst others cities from Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Germany.

The BACID programme aimed at strengthening governance structures in the Western Balkan and the Republic of Moldova with focus on local governments and European integration. The KDZ Centre for Public Administration Research now compiled the results in the latest publication "The future of Europe – built on strong municipalities"
