PA10 was strongly involved in the 3rd Annual Forum of the EUSDR on 26-27th June in Vienna, through the organisation of 3 thematic workshops:
The Coordinators of the Danube Region Strategy's Priority Areas (PACs) are expected to submit an annual Progress Report to the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission on the progress made regarding the implementation of the targets and actions of the Strategy. The report has been submitted to DG Regio in July 2014.
The new pilot initiative "START - Danube Region Project Fund" will be launched in July 2014 and offers new funding opportunities for developing projects in the Danube Region.
With the Award for Roma Integration, the European Commission wishes to honour the commitment of civil society organisations in assisting the integration of Roma communities across the Western Balkans and Turkey, and to give visibility to best practices and ideas.
The evaluation gives a comprehensive overview of the achievements of the last three editions of the DFDs which were held in Vienna, Belgrade and Bucharest. With three upcoming editions of the DFD, it also identifies challenges and opportunities as well as new target groups in the Danube Region.
