On the 16th and 17th of May 2017, the Citizen Participation Forum organised the 2nd Bulgarian Participation Day in Sofia in cooperation with Priority Area 10 "Institutional Capacities & Cooperation" and the Danube Civil Society Forum. Focusing on the topic "The Art of Cooperation", the event aimed at exploring the key of successful cooperation.

Centre for European Perspective made a step forward enhanced cooperation among young Danube experts in Maribor, between 10th and 12th May 2017. Young and potential entrepreneurs were invited to international conference PODIM that shows a great example of multi-level governance – cooperation of municipality, state and private sector that share a common goal.

Joining forces for better public services and social inclusion
How can macro-regional strategies support transnational actions for improving public services and better access to labour markets or high-quality education? How can Managing Authorities of the European Social Fund (ESF) support their project partners to make use of the benefits of transnational cooperation? What can we learn from the Baltic Sea Region? On the 4th and 5th of May, the 3rd Meeting of ESF Managing Authorities focused on how to better integrate transnational cooperation in the Danube Region in the implementation of their Operational Programmes and how to make the ESF work better for project promoters.

From the 4th till the 5th of May 2017, the Central and Eastern European e|Dem and e|Gov Days 2017 will take place at Ludovika Campus of the National University of Public Service and the premises of the Andrássy University in Budapest, Hungary. This year, the conference deals with the topic: ”Digital Divide in the Danube Region: Is it still significant in explaining ICT adoptions in eDemocracy and eGovernment?”
