The 4th Danube Participation Day "Bottom Up and Top Down: Science meets Innovation and Participation” takes place at the premises of the Andrassy University, Budapest on 17 October 2017.
The conference is organised by Priority Area 10 "Institutional Capacity & Cooperation", the Danube Civil Society Forum, the Baden-Württemberg Foundation and the Andrassy University.
Priority Area 10 "Institutional Capacity & Cooperation" drafted the agenda for civil society in cooperation with the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, representatives from civil society and INTERACT. The Agenda for Participation reinforces the role of civil society and participative governance for better policy-making and provides concrete steps for its realisation in the Danube Region and will be discussed at the Participation Day. The Working Groups will focus on how the targets of the Agenda for Participation can be implemented.
