Projects that received financing through the first call for proposals of the Danube Transnational Programme are slowly coming to their final months. There were four projects whose objectives have fallen under priority area 10 and we are kindly inviting you to join their final conferences and learn from their results.

The initiative b-solutions opened a new call for proposals to tackle legal and administrative cross border obstacles. Applicants have the opportunity to submit their proposals for small-scale projects until 15 March. The initaitive is managed by the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR) and funded by the European Commission (DG REGIO).

The European Commission recently published the second report on the implementation of macro-regional strategies. The report aimed at examining recent regional development in view of the strategies and their potential regarding the coordination of funding for the period 2021-2027.

Since 2002, more than 1 000 EU cities involved in URBACT have
experienced the added value of transnational cooperation, the transfer
of good practices beyond national borders, and the participatory
approach to policy-making.

On 15 January 2019, the Danube Transnational Programme and the National Contact Point in Slovakia organised the fourth and last thematic event of the Danube Transnational Programme. Potnetial applicants had the opportunity to learn more about the 3rd call for proposals and things to keep in mind, when drafting an application on Governance issues in the Danube Region.
